3 CPG Trends Your Brand Should Jump On In 2026

How implementing these trends can increase your sales in 2026

The CPG industry is booming. According to a report by McKinsey & Company, the global CPG market is estimated to reach $19 trillion by 2026. So this means two things: there is no better time than the present, and you have so many growth opportunities.

Thanks to the internet, so many early-stage CPG founders have written blog posts, guest-starred on podcasts, and created their own content mentioning everything they know about building a CPG brand.

Here is what I want to make clear. There is no one way to build a brand, but there are very common strategies that have helped bootstrapped brands sell for millions.

So I care about your brand, and I want you to do great. So here are 3 CPG brand trends you should jump on right now if you are serious about growth.

Building in public

No, I don't mean to become an influencer. I mean, simply set up your camera and talk about your journey building a CPG brand. Instead of writing in your journal. Talk to your camera. I have had past clients share their fears about being on camera. A lot of it is because they overthink the process. In their mind, they need an entire production and feel like their scrappy stories, phone, and window lighting are sufficient. One of the best phrases I’ve heard was “if your content is perfect, then you waited too long.”

Get to posting about whatever is on your mind as an early-stage founder and see where it takes you.

In-house creators

Influencer marketing can be extremely expensive, and you may not always need to be on camera. Hiring a part-time in-house content creator can help build trust with your audience. The key is to hire someone with an infectious personality. A person people want to get to know better and who they want to be their friend. People don’t buy products, they buy your story. An in-house creator can help build your story and bring a new perspective to it.

Collaborations with other brands

Brands like FIshwife and Good Girl Snacks’ ~ Hot Girl Pickles have so beautifully used collaborations to build the most amazing brand growth and awareness. When you are bootstrapping, or just don’t have the biggest marketing budgets. You can achieve significant success by partnering with adjacent CPG brands. This introduces you to their audiences, gets you earned media, and increases revenue all on a budget. The key is to make the collabs as organic and clear as possible. The partnership should feel like a no-brainer for your customers.

If you read this blog, then that means you have no excuses for not having ideas on how to grow your CPG brand. I gave you the best damn article ever written. As a founder of a CPG brand, don’t let a lack of a huge team be the reason you get left behind in 2026.

Cheers!
